This was the WOW! moment of the Inauguration. When the Bush family lifted off in Marine 1, it symbolized the power shift and ushered in a new era. This was very dramatic to see in person.

I am thrilled to have the privilege to witness history by attending the presidential inauguration of Barack Obama. My best friend Mark Conaghan is joining me in this journey. We will focus more on the local flavor rather than the inauguration itself. We are staying in the area where the 1968 riots occurred and much has changed. This blog will chronicle the generational shift.
