It's 6:30 a.m. and 25 degrees. It's time to go. To our surprise, Mark and I received upgraded seats. As you can see we will be in the Section 8 - Green. It's behind the section reserved for guests of the Senate.

I am thrilled to have the privilege to witness history by attending the presidential inauguration of Barack Obama. My best friend Mark Conaghan is joining me in this journey. We will focus more on the local flavor rather than the inauguration itself. We are staying in the area where the 1968 riots occurred and much has changed.
